How to Get Your Entry and Exit Records (אישור כניסות ויציאות)
Request the official record of your travel dates in and out of Israel for the years in your claim.
What it is
This is the official record of dates you entered and exited Israel, issued by רשות האוכלוסין וההגירה, the Population and Immigration Authority, often called Misrad HaPnim.
The Hebrew name is אישור כניסות ויציאות.
Why we need it
Your refund claim depends on the days you worked outside Israel. Form 106 proves salary and tax withheld; entry and exit records help prove when you were outside Israel.
Steps
The easiest way is to go in person. You do not need to book an appointment. There is an online method, but we have heard it can be unreliable, and some people have seen significant delays getting the record by mail.
Recommended: In person (Tel Aviv)
- 01No appointment is required, so walk in during office hours.
- 02Go to the Misrad HaPnim (Ministry of Interior) offices on Menachem Begin Road.
- 03Enter the building, go to the second floor, turn left, and head to Misrad HaPnim.
- 04Take a ticket from the machine. When asked, say in Hebrew that you need your entry and exit form (טופס כניסה ויציאה).
- 05Wait for your number to be called. Bring your Teudat Zehut.
Alternative: Online
- 01Search gov.il for בירור פרטים על נוסע to find the request form.
- 02Fill in your ID number, name, and mobile number, then submit.
- 03The record is mailed to your registered address. We are not sure how reliable this route is. In the past, some people have waited a long time for the letter to arrive.
Common problems
- Not in Tel Aviv? Other Misrad HaPnim branches can issue the same form. Ask for טופס כניסה ויציאה when you arrive.
- Online request taking too long? In-person service is usually faster and more reliable.
What to do next
- Use this record to complete your trip log with exit and entry dates.
- Upload the official record together with your Form 106s so your file shows both travel dates and income.
